I've been on ladders in all temps from 0 to 100. The extremes are not fun but if you are going to do it, today is the day. Mid 40's here today.

A few years ago, on my way to town, I was driving along a more desolate road and came across a string of electronics that someone had dumped on the side of the road. TV's, computers etc., the string was a couple hundred feet long. It was more than one truck load. The township had to clean it up. I wish they would have caught the people that did this.

they make these little gutter clips that are no-drill.
You still have to get up on the roof/use a ladder but at least you're not putting holes in your soffits and gutters.

I like Christmas, but good lord I hate Christmas decorations. Ought to be able to put up a Charlie Brown tree and be done with it. But noooooooo, Mrs. Noodles is Puerto Rican so my house has to look like this

She has the inside all done up too garland, she has these snowmen she buys from hallmark every year. You squeeze the snowman's had and it dances and sings Christmas songs, makes me insane I hate those things. She wanted a second christmas tree up in the loft, I hit the breaks on that.

hahaha, I thought I was the only one whose Mrs. wanted two trees. We don't even have any kids and no nieces/nephews coming over this year due to C-19; and she STILL wanted two trees!

I also hate Christmas music with a passion...

...maybe I don't really like Christmas after all. Just snow and presents. And the food.

This is an area that Rochester found to be a non deer dumping zone over the years. In a 60 mile radius from city( I only assume whats sunk in lake Ontario) "mobsters"(70/80's), hookers, out of state people, even one famous unidentified teen. Cams have helped over the years.

My wife is a fanatic about Christmas as well. Being an electrician, I had to install a lot of receptacles on the outside of my house and garage. It's best to have one on each side of a door. It saves from tripping on extension cords.

Slow down and answer some questions about this.
Who provides the x-mas lights, you or them?
Most importantly, who figures out which one of the ba**ard bulbs is the bad one when an entire string won't come on?

My MIL puts up a minimum of 3 trees, and generally 4 or 5.
The outside is far from the Grizwold's, but the inside is another story.

How old are your lights??? We haven't had lights like that in years.

If the string won't come on, check the fuse in the plug...

Mr. Noodles has a pic in the LFTS thread.

Me? I break every camera used to photograph me. Uglier than Frankenstein's bride

I have a face for radio. LOL
