I've been wondering about you as well. Glad to see you on again. I can vouch for the craziness at the hospital. I'm supposed to be retired but they kept calling me for shifts. After 25 years with these folks, I can't easily say no to my peeps. Sent from my RCT6703W13 using Tapatalk
Sitting over a small patch of standing beana where I’ve been dumping corn hoping to get my daughter her first deer maybe first buck while we’re at it lol Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Back in the saddle again y’all! Giving it another go. Probably one of my last hunts of the year. I am out with two buddies. We all spread out and are just outside their bedroom. Nothing to lose. Everything is on the menu tonight! Good luck to everyone else who is out. Be safe and shoot straight! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I don’t even care to see anything, but it’s just nice to sit in the woods. Life is too busy sometimes and this is the best medicine.
A buddy called and asked if I wanted to go this afternoon. So here I sit with my Ruger 6.5 in hand. It is antlerless season in Missouri. If I drop a doe it will be my first with a boomstick. I guess I started backwards by beginning with the compound! Good luck all and congrats to anyone I missed! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Sorry I didn't have time to text back when you contacted me. My sister and her husband were here and we were processing the doe I killed for them. How about I PM the recipe to you instead? I don't wanna type all of that on an iPhone.
Okay, I don't get it. I know it's December, but it's early December, it's less than two hours after shooting light here (central time) on a Saturday and the forums are as quiet as a church. What's up with everyone? Are you all done for the season?
Well, I am tagged out.... but have been doing a lot of work on the property, hopefully making it better.
Tagged out? What is that? I can't imagine living in a place where it's possible to tag out. Oh, I'm tagged out on bucks in Kentucky and Missouri and I'm tagged out for gun kills here in Missouri (I'm allowed one), but I can keep buying antlerless tags in both states until my bank account is empty if I like. Come on down and kill a couple more.
Yeah right. I haven't even knocked a little bitty dent in the deer population around here, let alone Kentucky. It would take every hunter on these forums to have a significant impact on the deer population in Graves County, Kentucky.
Buck down with 450. Not a monster, but a nice deer. Huge body (remember I'm 6'7 350#). Been fighting, broke one brow tine off, so 7 point. Buddy shot a doe, 3 deer today, buddy has a buck tag left.
