Out with the 450 Bushmaster boom stick in SW Iowa at our farm down there. Buddy saw a nice one earlier but stayed just out of range.

Raining in December in VT. Muzzleloader opener today. Was out a couple hours this AM but deer were all bedded up. Ill get back out about 12, so I'm in early. Found a great spot this AM. Hopefully it will produce this afternoon. Good luck everyone!
Wife and oldest took a day trip with some friends. I dropped younger 3 kids off at grandmas. And I just got settled in a tree for the rest of the day. Have the bang stick with me. Not much getting a pass tonight. Good luck those that are out. Now to catch up on this thread. Lol
And the neighbors are now target shooting about 200 or so yards away. Hopefully they will be done soon. Crows have been going nuts in the opposite direction since I got here as well. Hard to take a nap in these conditions, lol

Haven't seen a deer in the VT woods since the beginning of season October 1. Not sure whats going on this year. Hopefully things will change today. Snowing now. Wind is shifty. Im in a transition area on the ground. And I have abandoned my bow for the Muzzleloader. Good luck everyone!

Anyone that hunts from the ground during gun season, I can recommend the millennium m300 tree seat... it was worth the $70...
Doe down with the boom stick this am. Should have put a nice 10 or down but wouldn't quite give me a shot.
