Do you recognize this stand??

I have a very light aluminum stand that a friend of mine gave me. It has no readable brand or model on it.
Do you recognize it?
It only weighs 3.3 lbs. Why can't I find a new stand this light?

ok any idea why this stand only weighs 3.3 lbs and the next lightest tree stand I can find is something like 8 lbs?
I also have 2 menards steel stands that only weigh 6.5 lbs. Why are the newer stands so much heavier?

My bad.. the scale was on kilos.
the stand weighs 7.5 lbs.

 

Mostly because its flimsy junk, and the weight is off because there is no mounting hard wear with it.
You will have to do some repairs and update before that's safe to sit in.

 

Actually might be the lock on Spirit, I think the limit had a mesh platform

it has a hanging strap but it is very bouncy. was wondering if I could trust it.

First rule of hunting always have a buddy try the stand out

 

Hang it three feet off the ground and give her a pounce or two, all questions answered and the three foot fall shouldn't hurt too much, lol.
