Sorry to hear this! It sounds a whole lot like my tree limb accident 3 weeks ago. My ribs and shoulder are still sore. Good luck with recovery! I went to CVS and found a large ice compress that with a strap to hold in place. Best thing I ever used for swelling/ injury. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I completely agree. If at any Point I think I am worse pain than expected soreness, I will checked checked out. Fortunately, I didn’t land flat on my, just hit the corner of our outdoor table as I fell. Soreness aside, I am moving pretty well considering. I have been alternating between heat and ice and stretching all day.
I would still get checked out. Last year I was weedeating a big embankment and fell all the way down it. My shoulder hurt like crazy for a couple weeks but I touched it out and was fine after it. Well I cranked a chainsaw early this summer and my shoulder made a crunchy noise and I knew something was still wrong. Fast forward to June of this year and I’m in surgery for a torn Labrum and my Humerus was smashed inside my shoulder socket. Moral of the story sometimes we are tougher than we think and don’t know what actual damage we’ve done to ourselves. Please get it checked out, an MRI will give you peace of mind and I’m sure I speak for most of the guys here itd give us peace of mind too. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Big old goose egg tonight. Picked up a trail cam I had left out there for 3 weeks on the bottom of some ridges on a creek bottom. Not a lot of pics but did get a couple really cool pics. I also noticed a trend, absolutely no pics from Nov 15 to 19. Lockdown. Then they have started moving again around on Nov 20th. Starting to see that more and more. Nov 20th usually starts another 7 to 10 flurry of movement. Mature buck? Look at the body on this thing!!!! First one I have ever gotten on trail cam! And probably only one I ever will.
I'm out for tomorrow. Wife has an appt with her tattoo artist and I'm staying home with our boys. Gonna try again Saturday. Good Luck, everyone! Sent from my SM-G965U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Nothing wrong with that deer, aside from a smiling hunter sitting behind it. Nothing wrong with antler hunting either. At the end of the day, them steaks taste the same for the most part.
I'm sure you know better than most, but if something doesn't feel right get it checked out as quick as possible. The back is not something to take lightly if injured.
Love thanksgiving my favorite holiday by far, Tony so glad to see you back almost brought tears to my eyes. Skylar congrats to your dad that’s so cool you where there for it. got to see this little guy in my brother in-laws back yard
He looks a lot like that buck from WhitetailJunkies I seen tonight. Not saying it is or anything, think they said he was 9 1/2. He looks old and weary
Up and planning on getting out in about an hour or so. Heading back to the stand I shot my buck out of. Will have the Sil with me hunting the lease. Good luck out there today!
