View attachment 120747 He said he thought for sure it was a giant. He’s still really happy. I never saw the deer when he shot it the first time so he had me hyped up lol. I’m still so happy for him! The deer happened to get up and take like two steps and he absolutely dropped it with a follow up shot. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

That ended up being two yearlings. Wonder where their mom is? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Public bedding in front of me at 100 yes. Private land 50 yds behind me and then a green field 150 yds behind me on the same private. Have no idea if the field is producing just see it from an aerial. River bottom. Its 68 degrees. Lol. I'll be lucky if I see a darn thing.
I hope everyone is having a better Thanksgiving than I am. I put Christmas lights on the house this morning. As I was getting off the roof, the ladder went out from under me. I only fell about six feet, on the way down I smacked my lower back hard on the table on the back deck. It hurt so bad I though i had broken my back at first. Fortunately, I was able to get up on my own after a few minutes. Scared me and everyone in the neighborhood pretty good. I have been able to walk around and move in the house without any help but I am incredibly sore and stiff. Pretty sure this will keep me out of the woods this weekend. I am very lucky to not be hurt worse. I will be taking easy the next few days to make sure I am not seriously hurt. Aside from the pain, I hate this. Hunting Thanksgiving weekend is one of my favorite times of the season.
That's a perfect setup! Be prepared around 4 for first deer movement! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
You and the family have just a bit more to be thankful for this year. Glad you're OK. Get some vitamin I.
