We will see. I gave it a quick look and was immediately drawn to a low spot with some cedars. One of the smaller cedars (3" diameter) was tore up and there is a fresh scrape there. I walked in a bit more and found a huge cedar that is raked up about chin high on me. There is a visible trail coming in to those trees coming from the east to west. If a good one shows up and I set up right it shouldn't be a problem.
That’s what I’ve been doing since this Saturday bowhunting while everywhere else it sounds like the Civil war or something Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Luckily I hunt private land, still sounds like the civil war is happening a mile away.... TBH, I think I rather not hunt during rifle season than go public land with the orange army.
I’m hunting private too but my whole neighborhood hunts so the whole mountain is a warzone right now Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
OHMYGOODLORD! Big buck just chased a doe by me at 40 yards. Half his rack was busted off but he’d have been a huge 10. A big six was following them. Could have killed either one but the six was just a bit too small.
Pouring rain all morning. I am just getting settled. I have a little over 2 hours of shooting light left
We've been in here for a bit. Saw two Doe on the way in. Had to just post for 20min so they could feed off before we could continue to the blind. Caleb is looking for his first deer. Thats my main objective this week.
Went to my spot on friends property there was already a car parked there. So I text land owner to let him know and he says the guy never asked about hunting there. Guess he can deal with that if he wants. It would have been a tough hunt there with a north wind anyhow. Came back to where we did all the wood yesterday hopefully something is still around. I'm sitting towards a bottom of a bench hoping the deer come up from the bottom to feed.good luck anyone who's out. Sent from my Z719DL using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Three does came out of the thick cover a few minutes ago. The lead doe tracked the Ozonics scent to within 15 yards. Good thing for her she lost interest. I had the crosshairs between her eyes. I wasn’t going to let her blow the place out.
I hope he gets him one soon! My best memory was shooting my first deer with my dad. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
