Somehow I’m still finding the effort to wake up at 3a to hunt, this weather has killed movement during the day. Anyway, weather channel says rain at 7a, accuweather says 1p, not real sure who to trust. May have to wing it, may not set an alarm and see if my brain gets me up...most likely it’ll be my bladder getting me up though.

I have until the end of February, assuming my wife doesn’t kill me before then.

Didn't make it out yesterday afternoon. Rained all afternoon and in to the night.
I'm up and getting ready. I'll catch up with you all once it's light enough to see.

    Bloody Sunday, Killa's!! Good Luck!

Good luck whoever’s out. Didn’t hunt yesterday afternoon cause I helped a friend track a deer. Tough track job that went across the whole property with little to no blood. Then as we approached the neighbors we heard him screaming and yelling at his dog. Yup.... the dog found the deer. Ran it into the next county I think. She was hurt but needed another round in her.Today I’ll be breaking this camp down and cleaning up. Take a whole day

No moon, cloudy.. it as dark as a well diggers *** out here this morning. Little rain moved through last night so everything is nice and quiet. I'm set up with a nice 200yard view once the sun comes up. On the prowl for a tender one today.

Update from me. I hunted yesterday, but decided to give the phone a break and just enjoy the woods. I took along way into a swamp that just had to much sign in it to ignore. I wanted to wrap around it and walk back up from the south side. When I got in there I found a blood trail. It looked like muscle blood. It was everywhere! I followed it all around in circles in there. Must have been a deer either chasing or being chased. Thinking a buck that was to rutted up to care about a wound. I setup on one of five finger ridges that dump into this bowl. About 45 minutes later I have a buck walking in on me, must have been bedded close. I did a soft grunt and after 10 minutes he walked straight to my tree. Stood at 12 feet for over 30 minutes. Small basket racked 6. That was it for the evening.

    Good luck today!

Back where I was yesterday. .just a hand full of shots heard zero movement. Crows are busy on neighbors though. Sounds of creeks are making me sleepy.
