I’m in for the afternoon. Bumped 1 on the way to the stand but couldn’t tell what it was.

Highs winds and pouring rain here from the effects of the storm coming up the coast. No hunt for me this evening. Supposed to go straight through until tomorrow then die off by the afternoon which will be my next bet to get in stand. Good luck if your hunting this evening!

Just finished look at the chip I pulled from the camera right by this stand. Not a single big buck has hit the scrape since last Friday. Got several young bucks but nothing I want to shoot. Don't understand what has changed but it has. I don't even have squirrels to keep me alert! Other thing is I only had a couple does on camera. Gotta make a decision tonight. Come back to the river or head to family farm tomorrow...

I’m out and back at the house. Going to spend the evening with my wife and kids. Hoping to sit all day tomorrow or kill, which ever comes first. Didn’t see anything else after the buck at 11. Good luck PM crew

Slow going again here. Saw some good sign and set up a camera near by I'll check in a couple of days. I ordered one of those folding chairs from Amazon hopefully it will be here soon. This sitting on the ground with a foam pad is comfortable for about 10 minutes.

I assume they are signal-less...way out in no mans land...

If we don't hear from them, we may need to call Ned Beatty instead of making bail.

(squeel like a pig reverence goes here)

I was lost as well. I was trying to figure out how you killed the buck without shooting an arrow. Thank you for the clarification.

I'm out in big buck stand for the last time until gun season on Sunday.

NOODLES...that's amazing you stuck the buck from last night. Great job.

    Good luck team.

Finally back on stand after taking a few sits off. We ate well in camp last night. I cooked ribs and burgers.

I decided to get back after a doe so I walked in blind on a finger off of a ridge. I’ve never been here before but I found a saddle in this finger that looks awesome so I set up even though I don’t see any sign.

Ridgerunner and Cantexian are about a half mile from me. I sure do hope they get one.

The warm weather made the deer just shut down during daylight. Cantexian did have a nice 8 point walk by him at 50 yards this morning but it wouldn’t come to his calls.
