Switched up my choice for breakfast this morning. Instead of the cookie crunch I went with the jelly donut crunch. Man that things so good, I'm sure it's illegal in some states! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Hard to believe I’m typing this but after 4 1/2 weeks of healing I am LIVE FROM THE STAND! Great job all you killers out there! This page is normally more bloody tho... we need to start today! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Woke up wide awake at 4 and was thinkng of a place to hunt this morning. Then I remembered I have to sight in the new scope I bought before I can get out today. Hope that process doesn't take to long. Will get out as soon as i feel comfortable with the way it shoots. Side note.. I think this year has been my worst year in a long time of not seeing deer during my rut vacation! Gotta keep grinding.. Saturdays is gun opener..
If there is one thing i learned in catching up on this thread, it is that Swamp hates rains LOL. I sat last night and had 1 doe come out to the beans but was about 150 yards away. Not sure what is going on but the rut activity near me has been minimal. Will be out tomorrow as I have a decently busy day today. Congrats on a beauty, @cls74 ! Good luck @pastorjim08 and to everyone else out!
I'll set up after my clanging and banging session with my climber. Don't plan on seeing anything for a while. I'm on doe patrol. This little area has been good to me with does during the evening. First time I've sat here all year. Good luck Sent from my Z719DL using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I can hear alot of coyote howling this morning. Not sure what that means. Just fired these puppies up. Oh yeah! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Back at gypsy blind, cold weather gear on NNW breeze. Couldn't put decoy out there was chasing all over the ridge tree fell on. Then just as I could see a young buck ran off ridge through gully and out to farm field nose to ground. As I typed this this little one stroll 3 yrds by.
Just had a small six about 20yds from me. Maybe that's a sign of things to come Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Our gun season started Saturday but I didn't go because of weather. I'm sitting a picked corn field with my muzzleloader. Wanted to sit the opposite side of the farm but they changed wind direction over night. Good luck men!
if we weren't getting hurricane left over rain, I'd be really jealous of you guys in the stand. as it is, I'm just regular jealous...
