Have you shot your bow since? I missed a big one years ago cause my bow was about 6in low even at 20 yards

I’m sorry to hear that caldwell. That’s a terrible feeling.
The neighbors wouldn’t let you look for him?

Just keep at it. I would ask the neighbor if you can search his property. Look for crows or buzzards flying around.

A bit of an update... yes the neighbor will allow me to look and I searched all over his property. A friend down the street (bout a half mile or so) caught a picture of him later that night. Alive and well. Now let’s just hope he comes back

I pulled the trigger on this buck tonight with my 30-30. No more buck tags for me this year but I will do my best to get a doe for the team!

It’s been a grind the last few days in IA. These deer are pressured pretty hard. Seen three giants today but no shots. I think we’re getting some of these places figured out, hopefully tomorrow one of us four will connect!

Congrats to everyone who has got it done so far. Went out Monday and had a lot of action. Little bucks chasing and grunted in 3 different little bucks. Its getting time to catch a big guy cruising the creek bottoms. I will be out dang near everyday till I get it done or rifle season starts. Got next week off so hopefully get it done. Good luck and stay safe

Well guys he’s not a giant but I did kill a buck yesterday. Will get him scored up in the next day or so and post him on the score thread. Hope everyone’s season is going great!!

Did an all day hunt yesterday on a property that I've never hunted before. The trails and sign were insane for public land. Didn't see any deer until around 3pm. I saw 5 deer that were about 100 yards away. Then around 3:45 I had a buck encounter at about 15 yards. The only problem is he broke off one side and he was a year or two too young. Here is the Tactacam footage of the encounter.
