    Kansas bound in the morning for 7 days of hunting. The weather looks like it is going to be all over the spectrum. UGH!!! Talked to some high school buds and they are saying bucks are chasing and being hit along the highways.

    1 other tid bit i dont believe i mentioned reference sausage making and ice bath, we leave the sausage in the ice for 20 minutes to male sure everythings cooled

    Ugggg...trespassers....ggrrrr
    Anyways- had to actaully hook up the hose to refill my water hole! With temps unusually high (73 today!) the deer have been hitting it big time! This is crazy to me! Its November and Im wearing my light weight gear! 2 weeks ago i had my heater body suit out!

    Decided to sit in my best stand this morning. It's my private ground that is along a big public swamp. Didn't realize it was opening day of duck season. Nobody hunted the swamp till the past couple years. They r blasting away. Should of just slept in

    I finally get a weekend off, high pressure above 30, light winds. I'm in my best stand. Only going on 2 1/2 hours sleep. Hope it's worth it.

    Just had a real good 9 come through, 30yds and no shot. Out on public in my “killing tree” first sit in it this year. Good luck all, lay em down !

    Well I guess my bow season is over. Forgot my bow on the ground in the parking lot of some public ground last night. There was 1 truck there with me. Showed up to my spot and realized wat happened this morning. I raced over there and it was gone. Drove everywhere looking for his truck but never found it.

    I was shooting a 60 lb 27.5 Mathews creed xs. I think my cousin is gonna let me use his bear lights out. He got a crossbow last winter. I would just go buy a new one but I have a baby girl coming in March and my wife shut me down Haha. I'll buy a new one next summer.
