Showed up for the first time on my camera at my mock scrape an hour before I shot him. I knew him from last year but pretty sure he only came in to my area when the rut starts to heat up..
Checked a cam today. Superb property. Its over a scrape I put out a month or more ago. The scrape is getting freeking POUNDED!! Good amount of young 2_3 year olds but a new buck showed up at 12:30 yesterday afternoon. Looks like a clean straight up 4x4 but HOLY! Live weight pushing 300# id guess . Score wise I'm guessing 145ish? Warm up coming and southern winds which sucks for my stands there. Its one spot where i can't come in the back door due to a lake. There was also a maybe 150ish 6x6 but looked like a 3 year old. Great looking buck but .... Anywho, should be some dame fine bucks getting killed soon.
