Now, check this out. First I've seen this buck. Kind of freaked me out at first cause I thought Mr 6 was broken but this is Son of 6!

 

Well fellas, after harassing my dad and sending him pics of the deer from last night that came by camera he’s going hunting for the first time in two years. My goal has more so shifted to get him one of these 8 pointers coming through in the evening then me. He’s never killed a nice 8 pointer or bigger in the 20 years he’s hunted. I think I can give him the best chance on the spot I’ve been hunting.

Last outfitter hunt this evening. One of our six guys tagged out so far. 140” 9 point. Nice deer.

I’ve seen a lot of deer but nothing worth shooting. Saw 4 year and a half olds and a 110ish 8 this morning.

All and all - I come here for the relationships and the hunting is secondary.

Sorry team, I played hookie today. Prepping for tomorrow morning hunt then pulling stand and headed to the new farm to hunt a few days. Had to make a supply run, fix a toilet here and have to drop my daughter off with her mom at 7. Kind of killed my hunting. Ill have limited service out there but ill update when possible. The farm is absolutely covered in deer.

Little late today but in stand and ready to kill. Already saw 2 nice does and 2 fawns.

 

I'm here in this spot. I cant hunt any mornings til Friday, but after that I'm off til November 11th, and it's on!!!!!

 

It is possible. Camera i put out picked up a lot of decent bucks hitting a scrape, but the video trigger speed must suck. Picked up late a lot. Didn't see any bruisers, but that doesn't mean he's not there. Tons of does.

Had a nice 1.5 year old 9 point stopped by the mock scrape and other natural scrapes right by stand. Then just before dark a 5 point walked under me and went down to the mock scrape. These are actually the first 2 bucks I've seen on stand this season so overall it was a good sit.

I think this is a 2.5 yo 8/9 pt and he reminds me of a 10 point that disappeared last year. That 10 had to have been 6.5 and I had him at 18 yards 2 years ago but had already bagged a buck early season and couldn't shoot him. I wont shoot this buck and really would like to keep him around here for a couple more years.

I was out! Didnt see anything. Had a new buck on the farm hitting a scrape 10 yds in front of my stand.

I got dad on 4 does that night, he let an arrow fly. Shot was back. Backed out and searched all day the next day. We believe she is still alive.

Today I find out if I’m having another boy or a girl! Good luck to anyone out there.

Been seeing some just not the right one yet. It's a waiting game.

 

Are any of those the right one? Looks like 2 different deer there or were they all the same deer?

 

I think I might find myself in a stand this evening!!!!!

They are all very similar. Must have the same daddy! Great genetics!
