Well my son got it done tonight on his first deer with a bow. Cant even put it into words how I feel. This kid worked his tail off this summer to get better with his bow. He flat laid the wood to this big ole nanny doe! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It was 65 when I got off work at 2am, it's 45 this afternoon. I was planning to hunt in the morning but we have to watch two of our grandchildren all day and night tomorrow. I have to be at work at 2:30 Saturday also. My wife informed me that she will be grouchy Sunday and I should probably get out of her hair and go hunting Sunday. She twisted my arm. Congrats to both of them on shooting deer. That's a nice buck. I flung an arrow tonight at a doe. Had her at 28 with a small twig guarding her vitals. I was basically sitting on my feet trying to get under it. Nicked the limb and shot under her. First sit on the piece of public, and saw 2 other deer and had a bunch of deer blowing at me when I was searching for the arrow after dark. Might of found me a new spot. Awesome!!! Congratulations! I haven't seen my target bucks as of yet. In fact I was almost skunked Friday and Saturday. I was shocked. I have a week off starting Friday after work! Can't wait.
