I think Sunday Nov 15th is the one Sunday open during archery this year. The Pa Game Comm. has been so vague with this subject!!!
Well that didn’t end as hoped. Followed blood for 6-7 hundred yards. Best blood was pic I sent earlier. Lost blood around creek but I don’t think he crossed. He was doing everything not to go across creek last 100 yards of blood. In and out of blow downs and brush went down to water and back into brush. He lost slot of blood but not sure where to look anymore. Walked creek for 1/4 mile looking but nothing. He really couldn’t have crossed creek where last blood was. Sheet rocks on other side. I don’t know. Very frustrated. He was a really good buck. Back at truck trying to decide what to do now Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Headed home. Nothing after the lopsided spike at 10:45. Little bucks are getting after it. I am surprised they never pushed a doe to me.
I think I might cool down for a little change clothes and head back to one stand that deer would come from an area I didn’t just tromps through and see what happens. I really don’t want to go home. May go back tomorrow to see if he by chance was in the bottom of creek and floated up. Or watch for buzzards. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Home and ate. Found another gar hole. I should've known better than to hunt national forest in fair weather : People camping People screaming Kids running around Motorcycles 4wheelers People running dogs People shooting Saw 5 squirrels.
Well it seems as though he may have crossed the creek. I can’t prove that by blood but he’s nowhere on property I hunt. I looked everywhere. If he’s across creek could be an issue with other landowner. Never had good luck with them before. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I had good second sit this morning. I went to the west side of the bedding thicket I hunted the first weekend of October. I had what I think was a doe right under me just before shooting light but it moved off before it got light enough. At 7:30 I had about 100” 8 point broadside but 25 yards but there several branches in the way without a clear shot. Around 8 am, I had a barely legal 5 point right at the base of my tree. I decided to pass because there is a youth season in two weeks and I can take my so. In there with a rifle. That weekend is the only gun season on this WMA. It was quiet until about 10 am, when I had a little 5 point, fork, and one-sided spike all come by and work two different scrapes with 30 yards of me. Non of these were legal for me, but the antler restrictions don’t apply to kids during the youth weekend. I am really surprised all those young bucks didn’t get a doe moving around me. I would have shot the doe if that had happened.
I think I'm just burning a sit tonight. Kinda swirly wind and I don't think I ever killed a deer out of this stand in the PM but I haven't been out since last Sunday and I don't want to go to my spot I'm going to hunt in the AM. Good luck gang. Sent from my Z719DL using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I nervously waded the river to get to one of my good spots. I just settled down and was catching up on the thread and in walked a 6pt. He was cruising. I've seen bucks every sit so far so hoping tonight will be my lucky day.
Get um Terry! Time to start racking up the points. Good night to get the team going! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Nice to be out on s night without 20 mph winds. Hopefully the bucks cooperate and walk in front of my arrow
I'm going to head back out shortly. I don't expect much. I've seen nothing but does here at home and does is all I have on camera. My neighbor has stopped getting buck pics on his place also, and he hunts a large tract here. I'm beginning to feel like I'm wasting my time, but I know it's just a matter of time before the bucks decide to start chasing tail and get careless. I may or may not go out in the morning. I promised my brother I'd help him put flooring in his new house when the time came. Well, the time came at a bad time and I'll be heading to Flippin, AR tomorrow afternoon for two or three days of work. Probably beaten to the punch already but.... Because when you're cool, the sun shines on you 24 hours a day
