They have been in the dryer for damn near 3 hours. Bibs and jacket are almost dry. Going to be cutting it close.
Put on some jeans with long johns, an old flannel that still smells of motor oil, and some stupid hat and go kill the biggest buck of your life.
Just climbed up for an evening sit. We've got a very weird NE wind. This is my first sit in this stand for the year. Over the years I have killed alot of deer in this spot. Good luck to all who are out Sent from my SM-N950U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Absolutely. This last trip left me totally exhausted. Night before last I slept for 10 hours. I only processed one deer yesterday and then last night I slept for 9 hours. Today I just did the ribs and necks off the other two does. I have lots of time so I’m taking it at a leisurely pace. I figure that by the time I get them all processed my batteries will be recharged and I’ll be ready to go again.
I’m in but it’s hot!! Not feeling real good about this sit. I’m sweated even though I took my time. I really should have skipped this evening. I’m headed to taxidermist after hunt to pick up my buck from last year. Who knows maybe I can drop off another for him. Who am I kidding there’s no way I would not go hunting if I have the opportunity. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Awesome! Congrats! Im all set up in a spot I haven't hunted in a couple years. Lots of acorns and lots of big rubs. See what happens. I now posses a bear tag so one comes by it will get an arrow as well.
I think I know how the deer around here always seem to know what my plans are: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
New set hung along the western edge of the property. I’m 50 yards back on an inside corner of a bean field. It’s kind of a transition zone out of the neighbors property. I typically don’t hunt over here as I like to give the neighbor some breathing room but I haven’t heard his atv this season so why not. Despite the wet leaves I still managed to make all kinds of noise while I hung this set so who knows. Good luck PM shift! BRF is getting us off to a good start, congrats man. I’m live in Tennessee, woods are opening up and it’s loud in here. Let’s see what happens. Kind of hot but nice to be out Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Unfortunately not making it out. 5+ inches of snow and still dumping. My clothes dried but none of it is waterproof. I’d be soaked in about 15 minutes. Just going to wait until tomorrow. Good luck PM shift! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
