    Im out. Best day wind wise in a week but my heart is not in it.

    My sister sent me a text as i was leaving. She has my dad at the ER. Swollen legs, feet and a bladder thr size of a basketball. Only one person allowed in so im stuck wondering.

    Was going to just sit and watch football but the wife kicked my sorry ass out the door.

    Havent seen s thing. After seeing 8-10 deer a sit when the wind was blowing, this is rather disappointing.

    I've been in the tree for about a half hour now. Winds have started to lay down, overcast with an occasional misting. Bumped a little fork horn and followed him in to my stand. He is about forty yards off milling around eating acorns.

    Was hard to see the shot in the golden rod but sounded good. 25 yards and held on the crease. I may have hit him a tad low but got that pop sound. He ran like hell.
