Frosty out here, not to crunchy. Climbing sticks were icy. I could shoot out to 20yds easy when I got up here even though it was 30min till shooting time. Got in clean.

Pretty cool watching the pink sky rise from the east.

Turkeys are noisy. Sounds like they are headed to the large hay field and not to me. Heater vest is working awesome. So far nothing is moving near me.

LOVE my heated vest! Just bought another power bank battery for it so I can have it on a higher setting for the whole day during the rut! The same with my heated socks, bought two more batteries. I'm Looking at heated pants now actually.

I'm in. Pretty good entry for a change. As I was typing this had to put it away had the 8 pt i saw the other day and a spike together. The 8 started to make a scrape. Then went behind me.

I just bought another power bank for my stuff as well. I'd say this to anyone who hasn't tried heated clothing. This stuff is awesome! If you remember heated clothing as being the old heated socks or gloves with the d cell batteries, fahgetaboutit! The advances they have made with this gear will blow you away. It lasts much longer, cuts down on bulk, is very affordable, and just works great! Get ya sum!

All set. Forgot how much of a pain in the butt this tree is to setup in. Overcast and breezy here with comfy temps. I think it is supposed to rain later but I'll probably be out by then. Best ofuck y'all.

I tried telling my dad about the new stuff, and he still has nightmares about the old D-cell battery stuff. As much as he is outdoors, ESPECIALLY Ice fishing, he could really benefit from this stuff. He is so stuck in his ways though, LOL!

I can tell him till I'm blue in the face how good it is, I can even buy it for him, and he won't use it. HOWEVER, if one of his friends mentions it, or someone he plays horseshoes with mentions it, he will run right out to the store and get it and praise it.

Prime example is the thermacell. I bought him one for fishing a few years ago, and he never used it. Just this summer he did an overnighter fishing for stripers and his buddy had one. He was telling me all about it and how good it worked, and it would be great for hunting. my response, "No **** dad, that's why I bought you one 3 years ago" He responded, with, "Is that what that is?" LOL!!
