All quiet here. Did run into a buck walking in. He smelled so rutted up. Great smell! But nothing from the stand.

Maybe no knocks, but perhaps Shawn lit something else. Only heard from him once this season. I hope he is doing well.

Snooze fest here as well. Maybe I'll get some movement when the fog burns off. Already trying to plan for the pm sit.

3 deer at 8am and that’s it. All I saw was the bodies, couldn’t see through the trees.

Big zip here and a hard Frost. Not hearing anything in nieghbors, swamp tried call for first time this season. I'm getting concerned about the pack of yotes screaming out the bedroom window the last week. Why I haven't bothered hunting behind the house. No turkey seen or heard as well....hhhmmmm

Except for the big boy I saw driving in I haven’t seen anything but the fox and a bunch of raccoons.

    I’m really surprised.

My brother killed a really nice 7 point at 7:15.

Have seen 4 more bucks since the big one. Two were shooters, just passed through a little too far out.

Good luck morning shift. It is muzzleloader season here this weekend, which I do not do. My wife has plans with friends this morning and pumpkin patch with kids this afternoon. Paint the woods red!

exactly. I didn’t even get something walking by in the dark which usually always happens.

You're not allowed a 'lessor' (bow) weapon in AR during muzzleloader season?

In NC, we can continue bowhunting, but need to wear orange.

I'm out, no one was seeing deer. Husband hunts across state line and quiet there, too. Too cold for me to wait it out.
