Hey guys. Sorry kinda quiet this week. Got a new employee at work so trying to get her trained up before the baby comes. Congrats @Johnny Miller. I did get approved to take tomorrow morning off but my garage is currently tore up due to getting concrete so may let deer rest this weekend. Wife is pretty sure baby is coming earlier then nov. 3rd. She is feeling this pregnancy now. I will be out just not sure it i wanna hunt this weekend with the garage tore up. Going from high 70s to 50 for highs deer will be moving so may be hard to stay home. We will see.
Congrats on the upcoming arrival. I had my second kid (son) about 6 hours after taking a youth out turkey hunting who tagged a great bird, talk about a crazy 4/25! I see Johnny hasn’t checked in with us, we still get those points on the board?
He has checked in, but, he stated that he would not be very active on here. He is a business owner, between that family, and his BHOD commitments I don't think he has much time to be that active. I am not worried about it. We should still get the points for the contest as long as he submits it.
Yes like adam said. He still has to submit it just like you or i. But he should get it posted. Dont see why he would sign up and check in to ghost a contest. Just a busy man.

It is Muzzleloader starting tomorrow until the 21st. My wife is hanging out with friends Saturday morning and we are taking the kids to the Pumpkin patch in the afternoon. I may try to sweet talk her into going out Sunday, but, I am off Nov 7-15 and will be hunting the whole time. Things are looking better for heading to Missouri, so I will probably be doing that at some point during that week. No reason to push my luck that hard with the wife this weekend. My son’s teacher is waiting on COVID test results. If she is positive, he will be doing online school from home for two weeks. There is an outside chance, I will get a Ronacation, but probably not. I do have almost 300 hours of sick. I feel like something may becoming on soon regardless. Good luck if you get out this weekend.
I am guessing it will be on one of next week's BHOD episodes. I would imagine he will post score after it airs.
Out with my son now, his target buck has been flirting with shooting light the past two days. Hoping he comes out just a little earlier. I’ll be in stand tomorrow morning at our lease. Settled back in at home in VT with the kids and wife. Headed to the new house/property tomorrow to work on it so we can get closer to moving in before snow starts falling. If I can get wood stacked, some flooring done and more fall clean up done around I’ll slip away on the property for the evening and try to slap one of the does I’ve been getting on camera there through summer and the start of fall there. Haven’t been up in a couple weeks so have to check out what’s hot in there and run around with the LW. Pumped to start climbing into a treestand again in the mountains!
Well im going to attempt a morning to noon hunt with my daughter. She really wants to go and i cant say no. Just hoping nothing bedding close and we can get in then they move through. Have plans tomorrow night so no evening hunt. Maybe sunday morning i can sneak out myself. But if tomorrow works out either of 2 ways. She does good or get one down. Sunday ill take her out or be cutting deer. Concrete will be poured monday.
