Passed on a few does last Friday evening. Came by like I needed a shooter to do at 15 yards. I'll get it done and in order to try to win this competition everybody needs to slam a doe for sure!

As of today, I'm off Sunday. Planning an early morning hunting Sunday regardless of work schedule. My son pulled a card on our Oklahoma spot. He is targeting a really nice buck. Drew blood tonight. I damn near got bit, thought he was dead. Reached down to get the bolt and he snapped at my hand. That earned him a 2nd shot lol. Been getting pics daily, finally saw him tonight.
I haven't had a chance to hunt yet but looks like Saturday will b the day. I was farming next to a large piece of public and got out of my tractor to investigate real quick. It was very impressive with sign. Trails everywhere and a small buck walked 50 yards from me from the 5 minutes I was in there. I know the neighbors kill monster bucks so should b a decent spot. Well clean up from the last hurricane will be done today. We are still in the mid to high 80’s here in southern Louisiana. I plan to be in the stand tomorrow. Leaving for Kansas on 06 November. I will be there for 7 days. Good luck y’all.
