With all do respect, sir. A sharpened broadhead, installed correctly on the proper weight arrow with a bow pulling the proper poundage, leaves but only one excuse. The Archer. And I'll stand behind that philosophy all day, and twice on Sundays.
I wasn't dogging Muzzys, just saying they do not have a reputation for being a paintbrush. At the end of the day their 4 blade cutting profile is not really any different than say a SlickTrick and most people swear by those. Back to the live hunt info...manana

I had planned on hunting this morning and had the wife's blessing, but it's her birthday today. So going to spend the day with her and the kids. Then cook a nice dinner for her this evening. Good luck today from the stand and may your arrows fly true! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
I think she truly wanted me to go hunting, but I'm staying home anyway. She probably wanted some time alone and for me not to bug her. Haha Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Planned on hunting yesterday afternoon but a series of thunderstorms rolled through from 1700 till after dark. Did put a stalk on some turkeys, before rhe rain but couldn't get close enough. Today is a travel day. Monday through Wednesday the kids will be hunting on the NJ farm.
Set up in new section. Completely dead . I mean nothing moving save chickadees. Good wind cover for walk in.
7 doe/fawn already Swirling eastish wind In a stand I use for days like this I typically dont see many deer out of this stand
Great morning to be out but I’m sitting here waiting for my conference call to start. Who has a conference call at 830 Sunday morning?!?! good luck AM shift.
Somehow 100 percent chance of rain turned to 0 this morning. Frustrates me. Should’ve gotten up anyways to check. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Well had a couple interesting minutes. The young 8 I passed up last week showed up again but he brought his daddy with him this time. They tickled horns on the other side of the deadfall in front of me at about 35yds then went back up the hill. This is twice now the deer have moved on that side of it. My plan for tomorrow is to hunt this stand again then after the hunt pull it down and move it up the hill 40yds. Supposed to rain all day tomorrow so I'll do it in the rain hopefully it will wash my scent away after tomorrow's hunt. I'm staying in another hour a couple doe have been browsing around out of range. Sent from my Z719DL using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
These types of problems are avoided by marrying a woman in March who has a birthday July. Although, two of my three boys have birthdays in September so I have a pretty narrow window for elk hunting until they are old enough to go.
