Hang in there. Maybe, he just noticed something was wrong and not necessarily knows it was you.

it hit the cable guard post, breaking the end, then it hit and cracked the fork on on the qad, then it hit and hand, and yes there is an arrow in the woods somewhere...
at first i was pretty sure i broke my hand.

now im not as sure. have to get new cable guard, have to get new fork for rest (probably) and the release itself os toast, it now holds open because its bent

got my spypoint working again. stupid needed firmware updates

its nonstop buck pictures, nothing big, i would hope to pass on all of them so far, but its just non stop bucks, camera is near a new stand on a new property. While we knew the former owners they did not have a stand there.
deer are hitting acrons pretty hard right now.

hoping we start seeing some more movement soon

    hand is doing better
swelling down but top of my hand is like a yellow colored bruise.

i took my release apart and fixed it, at least i think its fixed. I haven't shot it yet. I had pro shop order a new carbon post for cable guard slide and dont think ill shoot until i get that.

I do have a crossbow so i could still hunt before bow is fixed, but i dont enjoy the crossbow as much

Shot one this morning. Could use your help I'm out and about and getting my buddy set up for tonight and plan on going back out myself. Thought it was a doe but he's got two nobs on the top of his head that don't even break the skin. In Oklahoma there has to be three inches of antler that extends beyond the hairline to count as a ln antlered deer. So I was able to tag him in as antlerless. Do you guys know the rules for this competition. Will he be a 50 point doe or do I have to consider him my buck. I'll enter him once I know what he classifies as

I think it counts as antlers/doe in regards to the contest especially considering you a using your anterless tag

my gut would tell me that since it is legally an anterless deer that it would be counted as such in the contest.

I think id just post it in the score thread as anterless and if they tell you youre wrong then so be it.

That counts as an anterless deer, no question about it. 50 points.

    That's awesome! Congrats!!

Thanks guys I'll post the video eventually. I've got so much editing and other videos to finish up first but I'll share it as soon as it's done.

Definitely counts as a doe/antlerless for 50 points and the ability to still shoot a buck. Congrats!

WI youth hunt weekend. Hopefully my boys can connect. I’m supposed to work, but probably going to take off a few hours each day to sit with my youngest son (10 years old) since this is his first year. My brother offered to take him, but kind of don’t want to miss out on his first deer.

My 13 year old will be hunting with his cousin and holding out for a 2.5 year old or better as he has a few deer under his belt already.

Have had ok camera movement lately so confident they’ll see deer at least.
