Well. My have 80-100 points. Last night hit an 8 pt right in the shoulder. I got about 5" of my arrow still in him, blood was ok, but let him sit over night... got a little rain over night, but hope he's dead just off the bean field.

Opening morning of PA was yesterday. Saw a flock of turkeys and 6 does. Decided to take a shot at a doe and don't know what happened. Shot looked and felt good. Let her go for a while, found a few drops of blood and never found her. looked all day and went back this morning again. Really sick about it.

I know how you feel. I had same thing but luckily I found her this morning by chance when I was gridsearching. Shot looked good but arrow covered in blood and guts. Lost blood at about 150 yards and started body searching the entire property. All the places you think a wounded deer would go but nothing. Then I decided to search corn field at top of hill and stumbled onto her. 80 yards from last blood but total opposite direction of her line of travel. Liver and gut but exit was clogged by guts. Full of blood on inside. Total relief but I feel your pain brother!!

Plenty of time to redeem yourself guys. Just keep practicing to keep skills tuned and get back after it. When you finally connect it will ease the pain. I found mine and still felt terrible that it didn’t end as quickly as was planned.

I’m going to wait until possibly Thursday evening to go out again. I was all over the property yesterday. Give it time to calm down. Maybe wait until Saturday depends on weather and winds on Thursday. Still got 2 more tags burning a hole in my pocket.

Hitting the woods again tonight to try to fill another tag. Supposed to be a little bit warmer than I’d like but winds will be good for where I plan to go.

Well no more points for team but last night was what I would consider a successful sit. Had 2 different small bucks read the script and walk pretty much directly under tree at 10 yards. No idea I was there. Will be back at it Saturday morning. Good luck guys!!!! I’m pretty sure everyone’s seasons have started. Let’s get out there and GET ER DONE!!!

Well my Saturday hunting was a bust. Saw 2 deer in morning but just caught glimpses of them and saw 2 deer in the evening. Small yearling doe came by at 25 but she got the pass. Hitting it again Tuesday hopefully if weather dries up until then. Supposed to start raining tonight and possibly not stop until Tuesday morning. Either way season is still early. Bucks are still showing up in the area so all good. Plenty of time for one to screw up and walk by me. Good luck men!! Hope everyone is getting some tree time.

Been seeing some deer but haven’t shot anything yet. Plan to stick a doe within the next few weeks. Finally got some cool weather coming this weekend and I can’t wait to get out there in it. Also planning to hit a few evenings this week.

My cousin had his son out for the IL youth hunt. No big bucks day one. 2nd morning his son sleeps in...and the biggest buck seen on camera comes within range.
Can’t kill em from bed (usually).
I’ll be back in a tree stand Sunday or Monday, couple days after the cold front pushes through.
    Good luck out there Y’all.

Well guys was close to getting a shot at a nice buck tonight. I was at full draw when he came to edge of field at 40 but he turned away instead of walking into field. Guessing 120-130 ish?
I have a trail cam pic of him but he looks bigger on the hoof. Be back out Friday night and Saturday maybe all day. Weathers looking good.
