Just to calm out to go sit.
I like a nice breeze. Gorgeous out tho. 45 and sunny.
Took a lady friend out yesterday for a bear. She shot a stunning 400ish# chocolate.
I'm sick of bear this year!!

Mike. I don't know much about NY but what kind of deer (score wise) can you expect top tier?

Depends on where you hunt my main spot is public land but thats a 1.5 mile hike to my spot and ive killed 140 150 class deer and seen even bigger but just out of bow range... my uncles ive hunted for years which is swampy and hardwoods on either side which board 1 farm and have seen big bucks the biggest buck ive shot there was 148inch 11pt which was a 12pt but ended up breaking 1 tine off... There are big deer here but gotta put the time in for them usually around that sweet time of the year Oct 31 to November 20th is when i usually see some big big boys up on there feet but if that weathers right youll catch them on there way to there beds... as for doe were over run with doe...!

Wasn’t able to get out this weekend which sucks, so I’m living through you guys! Keep the updates coming so I don’t feel as bad about not getting out.

I've been absent lately, (both from the forum and from the tree stand) due to extra work hours. Being short handed sucks during deer season.

It's great to see the team having some success. Congratulations to the guys filling the freezer and score card!

I was ready to go but checked the forecast.
Wind was gonna switch at 6:00
    I did not go.
Took a tour last hour before dark. Lotta deer but no biggies.
    Seen one decent bear.
Its so calm I can hear combines 3 miles away.
    I hate calm sits.
    Give me a breeze anyday

Went into a new stand tonight.
Could made more meat but I was in big buck mode.
Had one old beech peg me. She never blew but was downwind at 8 yards for about 10 minutes.
    I hate them old hags!
