Does anyone sharpen their unused broadheads from last season?

I used to be the same way. Then I retired.

Before, I always replaced my Slick Trick blades, but I never threw the old ones away. As a result I have somewhere around $400 - $500 worth of old Slick Trick blades in the tackle box where I keep such things.

Cantexian is correct about this style of sharpener. You can get them resharpened to an edge that is sharper than they were out of the package, and for Slick Tricks that is SHARP.

Rancid Crabtree, an old member from several forums over the years. He then went by innovative outdoorsman. He has strong opinions about things, which then gets him kicked off. He make the Stay Sharp broadhead sharpener.

He was very vocal about being anti baiting and there were several things he considered baiting, he was also in his belief that he was very influential with the Wisconsin Bow Hunter's Association. Well then one gun season he got caught hunting over bait by a Wisconsin CO.

I’ve used Montecs for years and they always pass right through. Bought a stone and do sharpen them yearly, even if brand new out of the pack.
