Season opens this Saturday here in Ohio. Weather looks to be warm, unlike the last 5 days. Have a couple targets so far. Went scouting a few of our fields last weekend and found a couple good ones. The buck in the second pic is hard to see, but is a 165 9 pt with a giant frame. The two in the first pic are around the 150’s Planted corn for the first time this summer. This 4.5 acre plot turned out fantastic. I will also be taking my 10 yr old son out again this year. He’s taken two bucks and two does over the last three years. Here’s his 2019 12pt And here is his target for this year. A 5-6yr old buck we call Goofy I plan to be in a stand Saturday evening on the edge of a 20 acre hay field. Cool. Good luck on connecting with those bucks to you and your son. I will be getting my sons out at some point this season. My oldest missed a doe with the .243 last year. Hopefully, he will get one this year.
