Wow, just realized this thread was going. Yes, I'm a dummy, and I've been busy. Congrats to all that have connected already! I lost my lease this year which really blows, so all of my focus will be on 1-80 acre spot that's 6 hours away . Still a couple weeks out for me, but I so look forward to some tree therapy. Good luck out there guys, KILL!
I'll have to check but I don't think you violated any unspoken rules by being late to the party. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

Good luck everyone out there today! Spray some blood. Ill hopefully be joining you all tomorrow afternoon. My adult kids yesterday in NJ. The last photo, if you zoom in, there is a dead doe in the middle.
I’ve been set up since 5:30. I almost got that smart old doe a few minutes ago. The other two had already walked by and she stopped behind some cover at 22 yards. I was at full draw but could only see her head. She just needed to take a couple of steps. Suddenly she wheeled, blew and bounced out of range and kept blowing. I need to kill her.
Good luck to everyone going out today or already out. LC she needs to die soon Good luck in the recovery aaron
Yes, Joe. I'm headed to surgery this morning. Dr. said it isn't too bad. I'll follow-up when I get home. Sent from my SM-G965U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Yes you do!! She will haunt/bust you as long as you allow her to. I had a mature doe pull that crap on me a number of years ago. She got to the point where every time she was at the edge of the thicket about to enter the actual woods, she would look up at my stand, because she busted me there twice before. Well, I switched up on her and relocated to another tree that offered me a similar view of the thicket edge. She came out one evening, looked up at my old set, and fed her way to my new position. She never busted me again! lol
Friday will be my next day in the woods. High of 60 degrees, overcast, North wind predicted. Going in 2 plus miles. Its time to make it happen.
