Sure the title and the concept is a complete rip off but figured why not add a new loosely hunting related topic in the water cooler. I will start off.

I am going to the Son in laws farm tomorrow to pull chips in the morning. I asked my daughter when I put the cameras out if she had a camera to use as a card reader, she said no. Since then I found the camera in a bin in a closet so I have mine. After I pull chips I am going to their house to watch at least part of the game but I am leaving my camera at home so there will be no exciting first read of the chips.

The lad has never had a trail camera so the newness leads to excitement, excitement leads to talking about your excitement. When you have a large family and they all live and farm in the area you tend to talk a lot. I get a picture of a big buck and that information gets out that is the opposite of good.

Does this make me an A-hole?

This is how you secure and transport the SD card.

No hiding it SIL and grandson will be driving the side by side. I will just flatly say forgot the camera will not act like I just suddenly remembered that I forgot. If the SIL starts checking out if his laptop will work to view I will have a thing I have to get to and leave. I am leaving my exit open going in based on fishing tonight.

Sota is going to get there and the SIL has already pulled the card and took it to the hunter that lives next door and had him pull up the images to surprise him

Open them. Slip the chip and say, “Dammit I forgot to turn this one on too!!”

im with ya, Sota. My parents purchased a lake home on a private lake without any public access and she likes to tell ppl how great the fishing is. I have to remind her not talk much about the fishing.

No no and I'd have zip ties in an odd color to make sure no one else is viewing cards...which is what I do. Just remember your knife and zip ties when going to check.

I like that...I caught a good bass within 50 yards of some people the other day. Calmly swung it behind some rocks and took it off out of sight. lol.

Sil and grandson are part of Team Sota, should share with them and share the experience and excitement of chasing a good deer with them. Swear them to secrecy, Team Sota, if it don't work on 1st shooter, then its every man for themselves. I enjoy sharing with close friends that I trust, I would be just as happy and proud if SIL or someday grandson kills a big deer as if I had.
