Largest main beams taken in ohio?

    ive heard some stories from a creditable source that a buck was taken in ohio with possible world record main beams over 34 inches, ive been looking for info,anybody heard anything?

    that deer is a freaking brute that man is a lucky guy u figure the maine beam is twice the size of the usual pa main beam thats amazing

    That is a huge buck. It's got a 24+" inside spread and the beams come all the way back around. What a giant.

    Great story too. The guy who shot him sounds like a very humble and grateful guy. Big congrats to him on a trophy of a lifetime.

    And sadly that's a deduction of over 20" if I read the net/gross right. (Main beams can only be as long as the spread?)

    Net's are for fish! :p

    18 inch g-2 ... 35 inch main beam... that thing is flat out unreal!

    Here are the numbers from the article:

    Left G2: 18 inches
    Right G2: 16-6/8
    Inside Spread: 24-3/8
    Left main beam: 35-1/8
    Right main beam: 34-4/8
    Green gross: 249-5/8
    Green net: 232-5/8

    I agree, nets are for fish, score em how they grow.

    I would die if I seen a monster like that. For some perpective that buck is 78'' bigger than my biggest buck Gross.
