If you get the Missouri Conservationist there was an article in there. I don't remember what issue though. Sent from my SM-G965U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
so we were working in the woods yesterday, did a lot of cutting and clearing on the timber that was recently acquired. set a stand and a camera about 30 yards away from stand aimed at the stand and got a buck already. Looks like he is eating acorns because we knocked a bunch down cutting branches. im by no means saying he is a gaint or a "target" buck, but its a good sight.
Acorns are falling here as well. All my bucks have already shed and are no longer on cam as much. Next week this time I’ll be in the stand! I’m so ready Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
the 1/2 mile while driving in at about 7am we saw a about 20 deer and 2 bucks, a forky and a shooter. They were all moving east to west on the direction of our property. panoramic pictures can we hard to decipher sometimes because of movement in the camera, but this is from stand. there is actually a 55 yard shot, several 20ish yard shots and shooting windows in all directions
Checking in. Sorry for the late reply been hunting out west in Wyoming and Colorado the past 2 weeks with no service
I can be captain if no one else wants to. It’s not difficult. Just let me know how we want our team officially titled. Team 16 - 4x4s? Team 4x4?
Thanks for stepping up! I’m good with whatever direction the team wants to go! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks for stepping up Aaron! Team 4x4 looks good, whatever everyone else thinks, I'm good. Probably going to go install our lifelines on some of the stands tomorrow. Stay hooked-Stay safe everyone! Oct. 1st can't come quick enough! Good luck guys! Sent from my SM-G950U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

So in Wyoming on the last day of the hunt I was able to arrow a nice goat measuring at 70 4/8 inches after a few tough days of hunting. Colorado was a tough hunt for elk...we had a full moon, and a major drought. Oh and after we hiked 5 miles into the backcountry we found ourselves surrounded by sheep and sheep dogs. We were able to get to 31 yards on two cows but weren’t able to get a shot. Talked with a lot of people who live out there and no one had got an elk when we were leaving. I’ll try and put pictures of my goat on this post!
