Just curious if anyone has used these heads? and what's your opinion of them? Looks like a good quality head and I'm wanting to try them, but right now the 100's are sold out.
It's what I'm using this year. I got the 125 grain in the regular head and the XL. Didn't notice any difference between the two in flight. They fly great and group well with my field points. They were blowing thru my broadhead target. Decided to start the season with the XL, just because of the larger cutting diameter. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
I am shooting the 125gr XL this year for the first time. They fly pretty dang good, and they are fairly sharp out of the package. I bought the sharpener for it, but I can't seem to get them re-sharpened no matter what I do. Because of the angle of a 4 blade you can't just lay them flat and sharpen them on a diamond stone like all the 3 blade heads. Seems to be the only drawback for now. I thought the specific stone sharpener they sold for those heads were mounted at a angle to match the pitch of the blades?
They are, but it doesn't seem to put an edge on them like a diamond stone does. I can't even get them to cut hair. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
Ive watched that Lusk vid before ... looks to be a good tough head .... However I'm still a fan of Slicks (Mags/Standards), and am trying the Sanfordinnovations.com Bloodshot this year and I have a pack of the new Striker X 4 blade on the way .. the Bloodshot is a COC 1.25" full cut 4 blade .... the Striker X is also a 1.25" 4 blade and with the super strong Striker tip .... all are 100 grs ...
