You are correct I have been hunting Southern Illinois On and off since 2006. It can get overrun with people. This is the first time in probably 20 years that I have not joined a hunting club here I’m going to focus on my property that I own here and put 100% into my out-of-state trip.

There is a public land west of Peoria I live next to that has great deer on it I’m learning. This will be my second full season living next to it and I have never seen a crazy amount of people on it. Hey everyone. I'm from Iowa, just picked up an awesome little 40 acre piece in NW Iowa 30 mins from my house, pretty excited for the year. With no B1G football for a while, gonna be in the stand a lot this year. I'm an ER doc, so to say I'm ready to get out into the woods is an understatement. Getting some more cameras up this week, hope to see some nice deer on this new piece.

Joel from WI checking in. First year that I have consistently had shooters on camera on my property. Had to spend 5 years getting it where I need it but I am there and I am ready. Season opens in two weeks!

Ill do it if nobody else is excited to do it. Last year the team I was on actually started a group chat so we could communicate with everyone easier. It was a blast and we still talk in it from time to time. Worked great since notifications haven’t worked for my app in like 2 years lol
