Like Mike Tyson said: "Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth."

I’ll be blowing the call for a buddy while celebrating my 63rd in the Wyoming mountains. He’ll be 60 this year. Depending on where he kills a bull, we should be able to quarter one and pack it out. If it’s in a really bad spot we have reliable help not too far away. I hope he gets one close to camp this year .

It's most convenient to have family or other reliable help nearby. Good luck! Are y'all archery hunting in the next few weeks or rifle hunting in Oct?

I drew a Any Bull tag here. I have got into elk but not any branch antlered bulls. I had two spikes at 18 yards Friday. I thought i was going to close the deal on a 320ish bull. I had him at 77 yards and coming in but..... then a cow and calf busted me at about 8 feet away. It is warm and extremely dry and dusty this year. We are still having a ball. I am very blessed and lucky to have four boys that love to hunt with there old man who help me pack my animals out.
