It’s like hunting really. Drink what makes you happy, right?
I like mine with a splash of water.

I’m looking forward to trying it. I live in a small town with limited options. I can get all the Jack and Jim I want beyond that it’s a crap shoot.

That’s how I started, and then I just kept doing it. It works pretty good.

Absolutely! I appreciate a variety of different brands a variety of different ways. I’ve been told I will develop a preference but that’s not typically how I role. I like variety.

I had to check. I’ve seen a couple of their reviews/comparisons.

Balvenie Doublewood 12 yr has been a standard scotch for me for years. And yeah, a splash of good water to open up the bouquet. It's such a rare occasion that I drink that I should probably go buy a case, it'll be a lifetime supply.

I make a pretty mean Manhattan with Templeton Rye or just like it neat.

Line them up I will try them all with a 1/4 ice cube in it. I like a little cold water mixed in.

I’m man enough to admit I’m not man enough to drink whiskey without an unpredictable outcome. I stick to beer and vodka. Whiskey brings out the devil in me...sometimes

Fairly certain that there are laws in Northern Wisconsin that forbid serving me VO. I become gods own drunk and a fearless man to quote Jimmy. Jameson I cool and mellow but Canadian Whisky no good.

There’s more respect in that than in seeing a man push too far.

I really enjoy lead slinger. I usually drink about a third to a half of most bottles, then put em up. Had to go buy a second of those. But it was the 4th of july and that bottle fit the part, also.

My first time trying. It's OK. A bit...earthy. I've found for me that as much as I love rye, it hits 90 proof and it loses balance.

You are at least the 5th person I know besides myself to experience this. I have one friend who literally becomes a raging a-hole on Windsor Canadien in particular. Or did. Haven't talked to him in years; Windsor played a role in that. Beer and Beam he's fine.

I think maybe because it's so naturally sweet it's hard to keep track of how much you've had. I dunno it's a theory.
