Only entries are allowed in the scorecard, so here's your opportunity to ask questions, congratulate guys that've shot deer, and talk Deer Contest politics!

That just means I will have to hold out for a buck that is 10” bigger than minimum standard set for myself to even out after penalty points

Nope, rutcation is always set in stone, the weather once it gets here is another story

Have a pending surgery, which if I have a lengthy recoveey is going to force me to exhaust all vacation time due to company policy. Will know more this afternoon hopefully.

just busting chops. This is the smack talk thread!
Don't feel too bad; a long time regular did the same thing as you immediately after you did.

Hope to get some bow time this year. For the first time in 6 years, I'll be limited on time in the woods. Baby boy will be due in the next couple of weeks so we will see how hunting goes for me this year having a new born.

I applied for some controlled hunts this year. First time doing that in my home state. Doubt I get drawn but you gotta try right?!

Bit of good news this afternoon, for hunting anyway.

Turns out I have 3 hernias I'll be having surgery for, as long as it doesn't switch from laparoscopic to open surgery while under, my recovery time is around 4 weeks.

Possibly only have to miss one week of work and have 3 on light duty. If that ends up the case I can manage that taking unpaid time off and not having to use medical leave.
