What’s up guys! I’m ready for season to get here. This summer has been nuts. Miss chatting with you all. started shooting 2 weeks ago. I need to get a varifier for my peep and I’ll be good to go. Got 2 cameras out today. Nice gill Benny! Hope to see some prospects in a few months from you guys.
Hey man glad to have you back. What's with the verifier? How bad are your eyes. Do you have glasses. Tried contacts. Thought about Lasik. I have never used a verifier but would love to hear a review on it once you get it.
What’s up Fix. Being 44 I have entered the using readers stage. I tried contacts with a bifocal built in but just didnt like them. So he upped my long distance power and now I need a rectifier/verifier to clear up my pins. I will be heading to the bow shop hopefully next weekend to have one installed. I will keep you posted. My vision is not that bad but a little help is needed for shooting out to 40/50 yards.
Sucks getting older man. You still have a few years on me but this old horse still ain't what he used to be. Going vertical might help as well. I love vertical pins and find it faster to reference
hey guys! sorry ive been awol. i havent been on this forum since the end of last year. hope you all are doing well. i took a break to regroup and get a lot of crap done around my place. i did get my house finished and got to move in a week before the covid stuff hit. today i finally got a couple of cams out. i found some new territory farther in than ive ever been before. needless to say i'm impatiently waiting for my first pull from this spot. looks like our team is refusing to break up!!
So I found a interesting spot on me this year. I have no idea what made the farmer do this but below is a pic of the woods the red is corn but the blue is soybeans. It's prolly 10-15 acres of beans for perspective. I went and put up a stand over looking it so I can observe a few times before season. It's all ethanol corn so it comes down very late and the crazy thing is I don't see a way to get the beans harvested?
I went and put two stands up so I can observe. I can not wait! Too bad I need to drive to Philly tomorrow 6+ hrs there but hey it's a great day for hay. Might as well get paid to drive 700 miles
I’m so far behind on my tree stand work and cameras this year. I’ve been way too busy working at the golf course this year. I’m going to dedicate a day this weekend to getting all of my stands trimmed, moved, and cameras placed. Also, is there going to be a contest this year? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Get out there Benny, sounds like you need some woods time as I did. I was out 2 days in a row and got four cameras up. Crazy thing is there were hardly any mosquitoes at all. We haven’t had mosquitoes around our house either and that’s not normal. We are either going to have a calm early season or they will come out of nowhere. Wish we could stick together as a team.
I am in desperate need of some time in the woods and to shoot my bow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If there was an act If there was an actual MLB season I would come up and get us to a Sox game and do some shooting.
