Ha! Such optimism. I hoping I'm bagging at least 15-20 aliens/zombie's a day by then! That is if we havent been hit by an asteroid or massive volcano hasn't erupted by then..

50+ new cases traced back to bars in a town 15 minutes from us. Just a matter of time until it reaches us and I’ll be there for it.

I've been saving my symptom play for then if I shall choose to use it.

If I say I had a cough, fever or any symptom related to Covid-19 I am sent home for a minimum of 7 days and required to have 4 consecutive days symptom free before returning.

Have 80 hours available 100% paid

    80 hours at 2/3 pay

And if I have kids or other family in play an additional 400 hours 2/3 pay via FMLA.

I haven't used an hour though, and doubt I ever do if they don't piss me off.

How long does it take science to be proven these days?

Can we use any droplet/particulate or aerosol transmission as the base study to come up with such fact?

Does that apply to any other infectious disease as well?

We have heard how this is so much more contagious than anything else we have ever dealt with, yet within short order are told non medical masks are the best method of preventing spread while a fee weeks esrlier being told medical grade masks were pointless and only denying medical people the protection.

If we can 100% matter of factly state masks work why do we have to wait a year or longer to say a treatment works?

Answer is, only time will tell. We have not had enough time to say whether masks work or not, show me where the studies and trials say they do. I'll wait

We're listening to hypothetical hypothesis' by "trusted" professionals in the profession of giving such recommended advice to the general public.

Masks are as proven as any therapeutic treatment or vaccine is. We're 6 months into it, less by some standards, and we can definitively state one fact over another just because "they say so".

I still fail to understand what the big deal is about wearing a mask. Does it suck, not really. It's fairly simple. I've just always kinda thought someone who refuses to wear a mask is probably to dumb to pour piss out of a boot even if the instructions were on the heal. Speaking of heals, 0317 says he won't wear a mask. Point proven.

Well putting a mask over your face to reduce spray just got compared to a vaccine, it’s pretty simple logic that most 5 year olds can understand.

Ok crescent wrench, when did I compare a mask to a vaccine?

I simply asked where is the 2020 scientific research that a hankerchief is the number one preventer of spreading Covid-19? The most contagious pathogen we have dealt with. The vaccine reference was to it needed scientific proof that it works through controlles implementations, yet there is no scientific study that says it does prevent the spread of Covid-19, I give a rats ass about a 2006 study, I am speakling directly to Covid-19, again, far more contagious than anything back in 2006.

Early on we were told N95 masks would do no good in controlling the spread for the general public, now we are told a tshirt over the mouth and nose is all that is needed to control the spread. Where's the science that changed that theory from March to April?

If he died yesterday the symptoms of pulmonary embolism would very likely put you in the "probable" covid category... straight off the MN Department of Health web page. Probable COVID-19 Deaths* * COVID-19 listed on death certificate but a positive test not documented for the person.

Hypothetically speaking. Would anyone be worried if you tested positive for Covid?

Is your hypothetical symptomatic or asymptomatic?

Symptomatic I would be concerned. I'm not exactly light on my feet and I have hypertension so I have underlying conditions. I don't fear death so I would not be afraid of it.

Asymptomatic, would not be concerned but I would quarantine myself for the alotted 14 days or whatever they deem it to be at that time.

Truth be told, I would like to grt an antibody test, having blood drawn for my next check up, may call before I go to see if it can have the test ran. There's 2 people here who were both sick early on, both had undetermined viruses and tested megative for influenza. One was sent home with a breathing machine for home treatment and developed mild pneumonia. The other was just sick as a dog for several days.

I was in close contact with both as were a lot of coworkers, but this pandemic was just beginning at the time so no ome was concerned yet.
