It amazes me how much some people allow their political beliefs to drive their everyday lives. How you can have such a strong stance on something that every day you just go back and forth with one another (I’m not referring to just you, the entire political thread, now the rant thread, and the covid thread). There isn’t another thing on this entire forum worse than the democrat vs republican... except maybe compound vs crossbow or maybe now no FOC OR high FOC . Why is that? I’m so curious why or how you guys can be so so so for/against another person or belief. Go at it every single day with the exact same things over and over and over. The world is not going to end if a different political party you believe in is elected. It’s not going to affect your life so much that you won’t be able to live your every day life. No matter what CNN/Fox tells you. Everything is going to be fine. Life is great. Live it to your fullest. Stop worrying, arguing, belittling each other over these things. NC has some similar accounting. New cases trending up (14day trend), but the rate (positives v testing sample size) is trending down (on same 14 day trend)...OK, you're testing or recording more that are negative.
MnHunterr, you seem to be a naive, young but willing to learn person. A millennial perhaps. These things which you have been referring to lately have been the way they are since the dawn of man. This will never change. I suggest to you that you ignore all threads that "make your head hurt" or cause you discomfort. Maybe just stay in the "Best things in life" thread. I hope things start going better for you.

Part of my point was that I can't come to the Water Cooler section anymore without EVERYTHING turning political. I can't simply ignore all of the threads here. Things are going great for me, it's some here that I worry about.
We go out to a guys house two nights ago to check on him for a friend. The guy had been diagnosed with covid and hospitalized for 3 days before being released from the hospital. We make contact with the guy and he said he was feeling fine and his chest was clear per the hospital. Less than 18 hrs later he died from covid. Unreal.

Lol There you go this is in the "water cooler" section. A section where anyone can create a thread and word it in a way to avoid " political angst ". So go get creative and ease your anxiety over what others choose to post politically.
MO-MENT-UM says a guy who actually studied KE, Projectile Motion and Momentum while working on Master’s degree. We actually used shooting an arrow as an example several times. Anyone saying otherwise is an internet-tough guy.
