    I used the borax on the fan and the beard and tacked the spread out fan to card board to dry. I then cut large arrow head shape out of 1x2 board for my mounting base. I then attached the fan to the back and screwed screws from the back of the board into the legs so the legs would stick out upside down(spurs up) to hold the arrow that killed the bird and attached the beard below that hanging straight down. It's a unique eye catcher in my saloon.

    I have used the Bondo method several times after trying the Borax and patience method. Bondo is the way to go!
