Minnesota in agreement with the U of M and Mayo Clinic to potentially test 20,000 symptomatic people every day. Believe the agreement is to acquire that many tests per day anyways.

One thing that catches my attention in this story.

"The facility, the company’s largest pork plant, has been running at reduced levels of production due to worker absenteeism, and will stop production mid-week until further notice. The facility’s 2,800 team members will be invited to come to the plant later this week for COVID-19 testing."

With all of the complaints out there about testing, not enough, can't get it, enter complaint here etc.. How does a manufacturer just go out and get 3,000 tests after shutting down?

If governors can't get them how can Mr. CEO obtain them without issue?

Just another example to drive the mantra a lot of these governor complaints are nothing more than behind the scene political talking points.

Watch, next big political talking point will be antibody testing and the Presidsnts failure to address it.

Then after that it will be contact tracing.

Each one will be singled out to prolong the bitching and moaning through the Summer. It's the only campaigning they have for the upcoming election.

It's probably most of the reason more and more are becoming restless and skeptical.

Sorry chum, you have the MOST common at 38% of the population. AB neg is the least common at 1%. These are for the caucasian population. Other ethnic groups have variations on the % but O+ and AB- are the book ends.

This goes for all states-not just MN. When a state says they can "test" x number per day are they saying they can take samples from that many people or that they can actually test and post results for that many a day?

There is a huge difference between the two. And what test are they using? A FDA approved test or some fly by night that is out to make a buck and have little in the way of reliability in the results.

Nothing says they have good tests. For an example, look at the UK. Spent 20MM and their test are for sh@t.

Maybe it's just a hope, but maybe this virus thing has opened our eyes about limiting our population a bit and focusing on our local farmers and such. Not overdoing it and eating and living within our local environmental means.

I have little faith in humanity when people are dying and they are concerned about getting hair cuts

That's what I was saying a day or two back. It would take 2.4 billion swabs with resuolts to achieve the testing they want.

That would be 1 test for every person for 7 consecutive days. That's the only way to find out who has or doesn't have it within a week. Does not say who has already had it though.

    It's impossible to do

If its any consolation, I had to look it up to be sure. I knew the AB- but with O there was the universal donor thing. Been a good long time since i had a bio or physiology class.

So state run news agencies in Russia, Iran and China are saying the covid 19 is an American made biological weapon. I'm guessing we outsourced it to China..

I am seeing it at different levels depending on where we are coordinating vent transports. Its all over the map.

What indications are you seeing? And when you say levee are talking about actual infections or people response to the entire situation?
