Keep pushing back the WH briefing, wonder if it is due to the stimulous bill or if something bigger is coming.
I just heard dispatch send out an ambulance for pt w/respiratory distress who was on home quarantine. This was quite a ways north of me but I think it might not be too long before we start getting calls like that in our area. I am really not looking forward to being in the back of ambulance with a Covid-19 pt. Also, at my real job, there is no way to stay two feet apart, much less six feet. Not to mention one coworker has no concept of personal space and is all touchy-feely. Ugh. I'll be especially annoyed if I catch it from touchy-feely. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Wonder if they consider this akin to a merit badge in the Scouts? https://www.foxnews.com/health/flor...itive-for-coronavirus-after-spring-break-trip
MI shutting down all "non-essential" activities at midnight. WI to follow with the order being signed tomorrow. Still waiting on the employers decision as we are a military supplier. I could very well be working as one of my customers is military related.
Well not for nothing but yall can shut down now that I have a couple boxes of Barnes Varmin-a-tor 20 cal 32gr bullets to reload for my 204 Ruger! I dont know if that's what you do for Barnes but if so kudos bc those are just amazing.
So this is the chart I was talking about earlier. Looking at the total number of infections per country, IMO, seems misleading. Each one of those countries is drastically different in terms of total population, total square miles of size, total hospital capacity, population density, etc. We keep seeing this "flatten the curve" messaging - yet the curve is different for each one of these countries. Not to mention the US is ramping up total testing in a large way, which will inherently cause the increase in positive cases. Again, I'm no statistician, but I'd like to see some figures that show adjusted figures based on some of the criteria I listed, then we'll see how we're looking. As the third most populated country in the world, I would expect our total cases to be higher than everyone but those above us - China and India. And I trust China's numbers about as much as I trust IBO speed ratings on new bows.
I'm in the ballistics lab. We test (shoot) bullets as they come off the press to make sure they expand and maintain accuracy like they should. We also test the loaded ammunition that Barnes produces. Those have to meet pressure, velocity, and accuracy specs as well as function in common firearms. There are worse jobs for sure. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
The curve will not flatten until next week at least, we are still catching cases from two weeks ago. This week and early next will be the worst.
What I want to see is the number infected that needs to be hospitalized, then the % of those that need ventilators.
Hey I'll take care of her, I have my list of her failings also, you worry about your own state and President door knob
Governor just shutdown Indiana starting 3/24/ 11:59 PM to only essential travel There goes my fishing days while off on force shutdown!
Wait for the order to be released, check what is exempt. You'll probably be surprised at how little is affected. We can still go hunting/fishing as long as the site is not closed if public and you still need proper licenses and such. I went to lunch and seen no noticeable reduction in traffic or parking lots. Business as usual. It's either yet another attempt to tarnish Trump or they're doing it as feel good measures.
