You can't tell in the picture, but the left sandal has been chewed by the dog. Does that increase my dork level?
I would bet $5 that your wife comments on them and asks why you don't throw them away. As Dad's we do not throw away what still works for us.
She does not comment on them because it is her fault they were chewed on. She left them in the laundry room with the dog during a thunderstorm.
Get a good workout them some wine and shooting. Perfect storm to take away the aches and pains out of my aging body.
I don’t know if it’s a best thing, but sitting around a table with the whole family enjoying some perfect venison backstrap is pretty darn good! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Since the annual spring break camping trip was canceled due to the pandemic pandemonium, we did S’mores in the backyard tonight. First time this year and first time eating one for the youngest.
Last night... bonfire in the deck fire pit while soaking in the hot tub with a nice glass of bourbon... did not suck
I was told dinner last night was going to be pot roast. Nice! Then as I went to load my plate my wife says the venison roast was super tender and falling apart. She usually says the venison can be tough or dry, so this was a nice surprise. And smashed red potatoes! Such a great dinner. Love my Mrs. and her pot roast. They’re both keepers! Stay well Y’all.
Had to run to the hardware store for a bracket to hold the drainpipe in the mudroom, found what I needed and figured I would stroll thru housewares, guess who found TP? Chairman extra strong mega rolls. Working wash machine for the first time in 2 weeks and a fresh pack of TP plenty of beer in reserve fridge is full, life is good.
Going full redneck tonight. My kids are so stir crazy I had to invent something that would encourage social distancing between me and then bc of work and my possible exposure. Enter...Redneck drive in garage theater. I'm surprising them in a bit
just saw these...that's exactly how I learned to drive at 10yo- 3 on the tree in the middle of a cut winter wheat field...sometimes I even had permission!
On Friday it was sunny and 60* here. I got a chance to fire up the Chevelle and see if it could still lay rubber. VS........ it was EPIC!!
Holy crap just got the estimate from the contractor the estimate is amazing, less than we thought it was. Things change we were going to move but I need to keep at least $250,000 in equity to satisfy a line of credit for vendor contracts as I move thru acquiring the company. Little pissed at siblings who have nothing but toys and zero equity so I have to carry that. But finally giving the the old crappy farmhouse a full facelift is going to be awesome I may have bought a few more years here. Wife gets her double oven and island in the kitchen, bigger bathroom and a baking counter.
I found this funny. "see if it could still lay rubber". One doesn't put tires like that on the back if traction isn't an issue lol. Looks like a lot of fun.
Spent the day sitting with my Grandson, I got spit up on 3 times and had to give the lad a bath after he power shat himself. Glad the wife was there to do the initial clean up before the bath. Kind of exhausting doing nothing all day but playing with the kid. Little dude got a giggle trying to watch this old man try to get up off the floor.
Good times. I haven't even hugged or touched anyone in my house for two weeks. Especially miss hugging my youngest daughter. I can tell she needs a hug. I may get dressed up in all my ppe gear and hug her like Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
