Yep! We have thousands of thousands of them that migrate right past our place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is the only one I've ever captured on camera. The strange part for me was that it was in the timber. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Sandhill cranes migrate through SE Tennessee and stop over at the Hiwassee Refuge at the junction of the Hiwassee River and the Tennessee River. There is even a festival in January where viewers can be shuttled from the old school in Birchwood to the WMA. Wife and I stopped when the place of full of birds and we forgot the camera! Went back a few days later and the population had dwindled down to a few birds. Will attach a couple of photos.
