I've got another addiction that I toss $$ into and wonder if anyone else here does.

    Anyone here toss Swimbaits?

The water here is iced over but I cant wait to start tossing my huddleston deluxe and my ms slammers as soon as we have open water.

I am going to be using swim baits trolling for pike and musky if a big bass wants to hit all good.

I throw swim baits year around for striped bass year around. Catch large mouth and sallies on them too. Usually 5" baits in the winter.

Hahahahaha idk about catching sallies but I love catching smallies. Especially on swimbaits they are some of the best fighting fish up here by me. I'm on the coast but haven't gone out for stripe bass because of the blue fish rather like to keep my baits tied on.

My favorite fish by far to catch is the smallmouth bass.

Swim bait smallies are hard to stay hooked up to sometimes, but nothing beats the fight of a big ole brown fish!

Tackle Industries Super D Musky bait pike lure, I can not wait to try it. Some speed troll for pike and musky. I prefer to troll at a lower speed and jerk and twitch the bait.

Try dead sticking large swimbaits too. Crazy fun explosive hits but man is it painful to watch till it happens sometimes lol

I have a couple in the perch pattern, bluegill and little pike, can't wait. We are gaining 3 minutes of daylight per day. heck another 2-3 months the lakes will be open.

Smallies boys smallies! My dang auto-correct likes "sallies" better for some reason. Haven't caught a Sally and not sure my wife would approve...even if it was catch and release!
