Aaron Rodgers is under contract for four more years I believe. So until it’s obvious he isn’t gona make it to 40 like he has stated he wants to play till I don’t think there is another way to go about it.

Worst contract ever, ssid it here when it happened, stand by it today.

He did nothing to earn the highest paid QB contract.

1 SB, a few years earlier.

Favre deserved that contract, not Rodgers.

I digress, I'm a Steelers fan so may be a bit different for an outsider looking in.

I’m curious why you think Favre’s one ring is better than Aaron’s? Sure he made it back the next year but Aaron has been on the doorstep (3?) times since. I don’t think losing the nfc championship game is much worse then losing the super bowl. And I’d still wager Aaron makes another before he is done. But I’m biased of course lol I really liked the way he played this year too he can still make all the throws he just isn’t as mobile or shifty in the pocket anymore. He has had to change his game the last couple years because of that fact and I’m betting he will last.

Aarron is a "glassman", Favre started every game he played for GB.

Rodgers will not make it back, quote me now and requote when it happens.

You do not sign a QB to a record contract in his waining years.

Lets see who regrets signing Brady from here on out. He's also in a no win situation, will it be New England or another overspending team?

I agree with your Brady assessment. I’d bet dinner at the place of your choice Aaron makes it to one. We don’t live far from each other lol

Aaron will get there again. People give Brett too much credit he ended more that one post season run by throwing a stupid gunslinger interception, ask the vikings too.

The guy got slammed to the turf at the perfect angle twice to break a clavicle and had the heel issue he played thru, glass man? Easy to say from a recliner.

    Perfect angle, perfect tackle.....

Either way, he is susceptible to injury. Has been and will be.

    Romo suffered a similar fate,.....

Romo is as great as Rodgers.... minus a SB appearance

That’s simply false. Romo has a long history of folding under the pressure and was much more injury prone then Rodgers could ever be accused of.

So, what do you think of Prescotts desire to be the highest paid qb? Or Dallas plan to make him top 5?:evilgrin:

I’m not gonna quote everyone but there’s some super ignorance here among Packers fans.

Favre should have got that contract over Rodgers? First off, Favre is my favorite player of all time. But damn, your insane if you think that. Rodgers is better at everything. Literally EVERYTHING. Rodgers is going to end up with more TD passes than Favre with 200+ less interceptions (he would need to throw 52 more before the end of his career to make it 200). Let that fact alone sink in.

200+ more times Favre had a turnover in his career and were not even talking fumbles.

The Jimmy Graham experiment? Total fail. Was he awful? At times last year yes. But his first year he was above average. He made a couple nice grabs in the playoffs this year. The problem is...HES THE HIGHEST PAID TE in the NFL. He gets more than Kittle, Kelce, Andrews. Bad, BAD value.

The receiver situation? EQ getting hurt in training camp sucked but teams quickly found out that MVS was a one trick pony and Lazard/Kumerow had football IQ but are not physical specimens.

I believe MVS and Lazard are back and we kick the tires on a healthy EQ but after that the room gets a overhaul. I bet Randall Cobb is back on a vet minimum, we draft someone with our first pick and possibly make a FA/Trade for a TE/WR2. Depends who gets extended.

    Didn't see this until now.

I think it's as ridiculous as it gets. He hasn't done anything to even suggest he is worth that. There hasn't been any improvement really since he won the starting job from Romo.

Mahomes will hold that top paid QB crown, and I'm curious to see if he'll play with the same intensity after getting the payday or if all that money goes to his head.

You're also comparing 10 seasons of stats to 15 seasons(GB only). Rodgers has been a starter for 11 seasons but has missed 17 games due to injury.

Rodgers has the same amount of rings as Farve, and one less SB appearance regardless of stats.

Lets see where Rodgers ranks in 9 more years, 10+ if you want make up for missed time for a total game comparison.

Rodgers wasn't and isn't worth his last contract. Just my opinion, but as I stated I'm a Steelers fan so I don't have the emotional attachment to Rodgers.

Rodgers throws less interceptions than anyone who’s ever played the game, literally a 4:1 ratio and is easily on pace to by top 4-5 in career TD passes. He’s currently 8th and only 2 behind a retired Eli for 7th in TD passes.

I would rather have Super Bowl MVP on my resume than a regular season MVP, Brett does not have that.

    So who's still watching XFL?

Have to admit, while you should be able to watch every single game live if given the time, I think I have watched one game and can't remember which it was.

I just can't get hyped for it or ecen remeber that a game is on.

Not sure what it lacks for me to get interested on a weekly basis. I don't care too much for the behind the scene/play stuff that much, probably be interesting for someone wanting to get into the coaching/officiating aspect but not interested as a fan.

Edited to add, the gambling emphesis almost seems like they need the public to gamble to provide funds to sustain the league.
