Magnus Stinger vs. Stinger Killer Bee

I tried to compare the two on their website, but what is the difference?

 

Stingers are a vented head, Killer Bees are a solid. You’ll look hard for a better head than a Stinger and you will never find better customer service than Magnus. Mike top notch.

 

any advantages having solid vs vented head? I notice the Stinger has a touch larger cutting surface vs the Stinger Killer Bee.

I can't attest to these specific Magnus models, but in my experience vented heads tend to be significantly noisier in flight than solid bladed heads with similar profiles.

I have shot the Magnus Black Hornets and they are really loud in flight.

 

I've heard that about vented heads, too. I might have to give the solid heads a shot. hell, maybe both.

 

Magnus stingers are a great broadheads. You can’t beat the quality or lifetime warranty from Magnus. Iv used them on my recurve setup for years with outstanding results.
