Shoot it and see if you like it! That’s the best opinion there is available. If you are buying a bow based on what other people think....don’t buy it.

I have never shot one but have a couple of buddies that swear by them. My understanding is they are a great value for the money.

I like my three year old Bear BR-33. Smooth and easy to get on target at 25 yds and under. All I care about where I hunt.

IMG_1351.JPG inshoot a bear escape for the last few years and I really like the bow. Bear bows are all I’ve ever shot. I wanna branch out and try new bows but have nothing bad to say about a bear

Not a hater, and if you like something go for it. It’s your money.

But imho for comparable money, a tad more, I’d swing into a Hoyt, Pse, Mathews or Bowtech.

Just my opinion. People kill with Bear bows all year round, but, Fred Bear and family has nothing to do with the company anymore. Same with Martin. They work and they shoot. That’s enough I suppose.

Ignore the names and shoot a bunch on your price range. Pick a winner by feel and you can't go wrong

They had Kumas on Camofire for $499 not too long ago. I thought about getting one just for the price. I think Bear bows get a bad rap cause they did go to crap or stagnated about 10 or so years ago. I think they made quite a comeback and are up there with the rest these days. I shot the new one and it’s really nice but I liked the VXR better
