    I really had a rough season after first 2wks. Well I know what happened but....
    I went on a walk the other day. What I found was a new rub line and 6 bedding areas. 4-6 fresh beds,due to snow cover or lack of, at each. Then 2 other similar ones. Rubs scattered and tracks everywhere on this one 38 acre section.
    As hard as they hunted the standing corn on nieghbors, even mowed a center strip, I didn't see such sign on my place then.. Now they can't stay off my place.

    Yep, might stop taking walks,200 ft behind the house (eye roll)

    I gotta say that this is the only advantage to public land. If you have a good first two weeks but then it's dead it is likely due to your scent and/or over hunting. In public land I just move a mile down the road. When I did have private to hunt man I really kept it to only hunting the same spot once a week, everyday during the rut. Public land I have many more setups both morning and evening. Plus run and gun stand and blind.
